This full-day course has been designed for people who would like to learn a few tricks of the trade in presentation and plating so that you can present professional looking cuisine at home. Working with chefs who have over 12 years experience in restaurant plating, this course focuses on various styles, ingredients and flavour combinations, making it the ideal course to add to your culinary repertoire.

The class is part demonstration and part participation. The course starts with the principles of plating and presentation (theory), followed by a demonstration with examples of how to work with colour, textures, shapes, plates, etc. (demonstration).  Thereafter, guests prepare two to three plates of their own to apply the skills and techniques they have learned (practical).

Ideal for chefs, novice chefs and foodies.

Course duration is 6 to 7 hours.
