This course is perfect for students, scholars, and beginner cooks who would like to learn basic kitchen survival skills. According to statistics, the kitchen is the most dangerous room in a home as it contains a large volume of knives, open flames and steaming pots.
Whether you stay in a hostel, student digs or you live alone where you need to prepare food for yourself, this course will teach you the ins and outs of managing yourself on your own in the kitchen. You’ll enjoy the simplicity and the sensational tastes that come from basic cooking, as well as preparing delicious recipes without the assistance of anyone else. The emphasis is on creating easy, healthy dishes while learning cooking skills and techniques from professional chefs. The course is ideal for students, scholars, au pairs and beginner home cooks.
We’ll teach you to manoeuvre in this zone over two 4-hour cooking sessions which includes knife skills demonstrated by the chef, what ingredients to use and store and how to prepare delicious and wholesome recipes from starters to dessert. Adults are welcome to team up on this course, setting a platform for kitchen participation at home.

Cooking classes cancelled within 48 hours of the class will forfeit the course fee.
